Broken Links

I found my free pattern links were not working. I am so sorry. I have spent time on fixing them this evening and should be done sometime tomorrow. I was unaware that Google had changed it's format. I hope no one has been inconvenienced. To make up for it I will add another free pattern to the list.

I have also had to repair the links to the Tutorials, and I have added instructions for downloading at the top of the page. All is now done. If in the future you have any problems please let me know.

  1. I would like to make the Guinea Pig kniting pattern but cannot locate any wool as stated in the pattern. Please could help by informaion of where I may purchase this wool? I wish to make them in different colours akin to the long haired breed so as to raise money for a Cavy (Gunia Pig)club that is struggling to survive

  2. I used a white worsted weight acrylic I had in my stash and Lion Brand Fun Fur. Fun Fur is easy to find in Micheal's craft stores as well Jo- Ann's fabric and craft stores. That is presuming you live in the US. If not, you have a problem. I do not know of any company that ships yarn overseas. If you live in the US and cannot find it in your area, there are many on line sites retailing yarn and knitting supplies. The guinea pig is made with one strand of the plain, worsted yarn and one strand of the Fun Fur held together.

I used to raise guinea pigs. Cute little things.

  4. The caterpillar pattern is listed under the heading "Free Patterns" on the right hand side of this page. Click on it and it should come up. I recommend using Internet Explorer for the best results. When the pattern comes up click on File and download a copy.
